headliner trim hitting visor ?
I have a 80 truck that had no headliner and have all the parts from a 84 ish truck. I,m mounting all the trim and drilling the holes but it looks like the fr. pillar trim will hit the visor mounting bracket. Do I have to trim the pillar trim or does the visor sit over top once the headliner is in place or do I have it in the wrong position. A picture would be nice if you have one

Re: headliner trim hitting visor ?
The visor mounting base should sit just past the trim piece & not make contact. The visor holes are possibly not in the correct spot or the trim is slightly off in alignment.

Ok thanks I will see how the cross bar lines up again and see if I have wiggle room for the visor

On my 83 the visor base sits on the headliner, factory headliner.

Re: headliner trim hitting visor ?
Mine did that on the passenger side, made a notch in it with a round file.
