quick question

Hey all, Finally gettin my new tranny done up and I decided to go with a 4 speed and NP 205....real quick, when I measured my current trans an t case, I came up with about 45 inches total length, from bell houseing to center of ujoint on back of the tcase. When I measured the 4 speed, it appears about the same...just wanted to know if anyone else has done a conversion on a truck like this before (77 GMC 3/4 ton LB) Ive done conversions on camaros, and a few other old chevs, but not on a truck like this, so I wanted to see if anyone knew about different drive line lenghts.....
thanks for the help!
