Rain gutter caulk
Did a 59 chev or gmc 1/2 ton or so have caulk in the roof rain gutter. My 59 Fleet appears to have none anywhere in the rain gutter. I am surprised at how good of shape it is with exposed lap/spot welds in the gutter.

Re: Rain gutter caulk
Ok, I can only figure that someone must have started a restoral or refinish, did an excellent job of removing the factory caulk then stopped and stored the truck in a building.
There is little paint on the roof with some red primer/surface rust. This truck set for years before I bought it at an estate auction. I guess my luck. It will get new caulk. I like the 3M waterbase automotive caulk which I used on my 67.
