Im looking for a 67-68 flip forward style bench seat to redo, and put it in my 72. I pulled the gas tank out years ago.

the regular seats have two bolts holding the back brace to the seat frame. If you want the cheep solution, simply remove the top bolt on each side and the backrest will fold forward. It will also rest on the rear of the inner cab.

To bad your so far away. Have one from a '68 GMC that has good foam, fair to good seat cover and is original flip forward type. $40 but shipping would be a killer that far.

Hmmmmm. I thought I just replied to this already. Must have hit the "dumb" button and it all went away.

I have a nice tip forward seat in Olympia for $75. It is the one with the better/thicker foam and they are a little safer than the one-bolt 69+ setup because you can put a quick release wing nut on the locking bolt. You might want to take a little road trip. I probably have a bunch of other cool stuff you will want too. Trades for rare parts welcome.

Thanx Ironhorse, pickmup I was just up your way last weekend buying back my old 72 super 4x4, it was in castle rock. Oh well I need rest, I drove 1000 miles in 24hrs that saturday. I hope I can find one locally, thanx though Dana
