1-3/4 sbc headers...what are you running?

What are you fellas running for 1-3/4 primary headers these days?

Was looking at the Headman elite's, but just wondering if you guys are running something as good or better in the $550 ballpark

I don't know if they will fit your application, but I am using TCI 1 3/4" headers

Those are very nice. Do you remember if the tube inlets on the flanges match the shape of the gaskets shown in the picture? If so, that's exactly what I'm looking for.

Re: 1-3/4 sbc headers...what are you running?

Running them on 2WD 86’ short bed with LY6 trans. Like them, high quality. Big Plug wires are tight, ran mine down, if again, likely try up. As mentioned above, they fit nice. Slight room needed to fit in if remember correct. Truck up in air. Had them for about 4 years, no issues. Just purchased another set for new 86’ truck to us. Have to look up what the part numbers are.

These are what I used on my old 83, Headman Hedders #69010. I really like quality and fit. Also they did not hang down as much and had a bit better clearance for all the spark plugs.

Most people now are going back to the ramhorns with a 2.5 opening. They got past the 'gotta put headers on it' phase. OR for this body style they're running block huggers
