Question 72 C10 Removing OEM A/C Bracket - Bolts/Washers?

My OEM A/C was replaced with newer components but the OEM A/C bracket is still installed on the intake.

What do I need to know if I want to remove it. I assume the bolts are part of the intake to block?

Do I need shorter ones? I am sure I need washers.

Granted it is not doing any harm, just bugs me its there not doing anything!

No real concerns, just remove bolts, replace...regular intake bolts are about 1 1/4" long...Somebody may want original brackets.

I only have that one now my brother was a dope and did not get them from the shop.

Well, got to get some washer for sure, I spy the others having them. Last thing I want to do is have these bolts push into something important ha!

They could cause a oil leak or a coolant leak if you don't use sealant on them.

Thanks guys.

Remove two bolts, get proper washers, use sealant!

You sure the aftermarket setup doesn't use a brace there? I would want a rear brace.

Nope, was professionally installed. So I can only assume the job was done right.
