We’re still without power, and judging from the number of trees laying across the lines, AND the four places that the Power lines are on the ground, it’s gonna be a few days before we get power restored.
We’re good though.
I have a Propane stove in the Great Room and a Generator to power/charge things as I need them.

Re: Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas. It rained lightly last night, but was sunny/partly cloudy and warm in Tucson today.
Back when my Folks used to have a cabin in the White Mountains of Arizona. We'd go up there for Christmas vacation. I'd ski at nearby Apache Sunrise.
Sometimes a blizard would wipe out power lines for a few days. We had a Victorian pot belly stove. I could swing the chrome ornamantal trim away, exposing a cooktop. I'd cook pancakes or steaks in butter in a cast-iron skillet, or pea soup. I had an attic stuffed with Red Juniper pine.
Chucked my beers in the snowbank on the front porch, and burned a kerosene lamp when it was dark. Great times.
