Brake drum stuck! How?
Working on a 68 1/2 that’s been sitting for a year. Left front drum was tight but it would roll. Topped of master cylinder and went to bleed all 4 corners. Couldn’t get left front to bleed, found that rubber line was stopped up. Replaced line and bled air bubbles out. Test drove it down the driveway and when I applied the brakes the left front locked up and will not release. I took the wheel off and tried to break it loose with a big pry bar and had to stop when I started bending the lug nuts! First, I assume that the wheel cylinder is frozen up? What then? How do I get it loose or get the drum off? Thanks for any help.

Re: Brake drum stuck! How?
Did you have the drum off during the line replacement? Check out, clean, lube, adjust the shoes at that time?
I would open the bleeder to be sure that there is no pressure first. If it is still locked up after that, adjust the shoes inward to get it apart. (that was the point of the first question)

Re: Brake drum stuck! How?
I left the shoes on when replacing the line. I did open the bleeder after the wheel locked up and fluid oozed out but it’s still stuck. I’m going to try turning the adjuster tomorrow and see if it will loosen up
