door hoop/frame and vent window
Vent window is very close to rubbing on door when opening. It appears that the front frame hoop along the A pillar is not a steep enough angle which makes the back edge of the vent window low. Has anyone encountered this? The way the 3 philips head screw engage in dished brackets make moving vent a little higher next to impossible.

Re: door hoop/frame and vent window
Is this an aftermarket door? The reason I'm asking is I built a truck for a customer[RIP WiggyHD] and the door looked perfect but wouldnt fit the door opening. After much adjusting and just a few minutes measuring I discovered the hoop was too high. I ended up drilling out the welds removing the hoop and trimming the hoop and reinstalling it. After that all fit as it should. I dont know if it will help you just thought I'd share. Jim

Re: door hoop/frame and vent window
I had a similar issue with an aftermarket door. The bottom was hitting the rocker. Fixed that. Then the door latch was off. Fixed that. Then the door glass would not roll up enough that it was closed.
Bought a better USED door = FIXED IT ALL! Good Luck.
