My fingers are crossed
Maybe the rubber gasket I put on my tranny oil pan will stop the leak. I am losing about a quart of tranny fluid a week! I dropped the pan, cleaned everything up and tweaked the pan straight (I hope). Put a rubber gasket on and put it back on. Maybe it will seal this time.

Krue,
Your sure it's not the freont seal aren't you?? Mine is leaking about 2 tablespoons on the concrete overnight. I need to replace it, but DREAD taking the tranny out to getto it. I HATE WORKING ON THE TRANNY!!!! It seems no matter what you do, tranny fluid always gets everywhere!!!!!!

Took the tranny out and replaced front and rear seals. I could tell where it was coming from fairly well, I just couldn't get it to seal.

Hey krue, if the tin isn't straight enough to let the rubber gasket seal, maybe Santa will bring you a nice shiny new finned aluminum pan!

I had the front Pump housing to case O-Ring fail on wone. It looked like a pan leak at the front. Changed that pan gasket twice.
I'm fighting with my 75 right now. 1-2 Shift acumulator cover is leaking. Put new seal in didn't help. I stacked two seals (they are O-ring style) and so far that seems to have worked.

I have had this problem....seems that whatever some of the newer cork gaskets are made of, will allow the tranny fluid to leak through the gasket, even with no other problems. Mine only did it when the truck was parked on a hill. Where did you get the rubber gasket?

Well it's still leaking! I guess I need to check everything else now.
I am pretty sure the vent tube's not clogged because I checked it before I reinstalled the tranny (in October). Tom, I got the rubber gasket at O'reilly's. It's a Pioneer part. I can get the number off of the box if you want it.

I have tried glue, a new pan will be next, after I make sure that it's not something else.
