Finally swapped steering wheels
Out with the Chevelle SS wheel and in with a truck wheel.

Horn works, not the driver tho...
While I was at it I replaced all the horn guts with the taller contact cup. It looks like its on the seat but the seat was all the way forward at the time...being 5-8 and trying to keep to a six pack instead of a case helps! |

Doing exactly the same thing to my '67 short step. got the wheel ready for paint and had a complete shoulder replacement. all projects on hold til spring. Thanks for posting, gives me something to look forward to..

Kinda figured the SS wheel belongs in a Chevelle and a truck wheel belongs in a truck.
