MT Need trim for tailgate - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I am looking for the chrome trim that runs underneath the tailgate panel if someone has one let me know thanks.

If nothing else, you can cut some from a roll of trim to get you going.

I believe that trim is usually stick on. They sell aftermarket stuff.

What year truck do you need this for? 81 through maybe 83 were aluminum after that they were plastic like the side moldings

It's an 84. I will check out my local salvage yard, maybe get lucky. I see you can buy new lengths on ebay, was just hoping to match the rest of the trim with the 84 antique finish. LOL
