Radiator swap and shroud questions

I had a new brass/copper 4 core radiator built for my 85 K30, but I sold that truck last month, so I'd like to use it in my 76 C20. To do the swap, it looks like I'll need some Nutserts, top plate and shroud, I'll be getting the parts from LMC and am not sure which shroud to order. My 76 has a 350 engine, shorter style 2 core radiator and 2 piece shroud. Anyone know? Thanks!

Re: Radiator swap and shroud questions

IIRC it should be a direct swap.. only time ive had to change any kind of mounting hardware is if ive gone to a newer aluminum radiator and i used the different top mounts and the shroud that doesnt cover the top of the radiator

Re: Radiator swap and shroud questions

The original radiator in my 76 has a 17" tall core and the radiator I'm installing has either a 20 5/8" or 21" core height. My guess is I'll need a big block shroud shroud and a top plate for a V8 with HD cooling. I got the LMC catalog back out and am going to order shroud 32 2850 and top plate 32 0984. I'm not sure, but hopefully these are the right parts. Thanks!

Re: Radiator swap and shroud questions

Your shroud will work for my 76, but your top plate won't, I'll just buy new stuff, if I do this swap. Thanks!
