Have you seen a visor like this?

New thread because my cleaning visor thread has run it’s course and probably wouldn’t have gotten an answer there

Ran across this blue with green edge visor. When I first took it out of the pile I assumed because it was so filthy was the green was just sun damaged blue.

Gave it a good cleaning and it’s definitely a green edge. And from the way it’s made I believe it’s factory. Anyone have two tone visors?

I never saw one like that. Maybe it was a Monday thing...

I still have a lot of them to clean up so I will have to check.

Re: Have you seen a visor like this?

Were there some two-tone bucket seats? Maybe from one of those interiors?

Edit: the link below talks about it some, but I don't see any with the color scheme of your visor.

Re: Have you seen a visor like this?

In '69 some seat vinyl was 2-tone. But wasn't the blue dark, only in '69?

Re: Have you seen a visor like this?

I cant find the match to it in my pile, would have been nice to have two.

Took another look ... found it.

Re: Have you seen a visor like this?

I cleaned up the second one and the blue doesn’t quite match, a bit darker, not as “shiny “ and it seems to be thicker. Despite the first one really looking OEM I’m doubtful now.

Re: Have you seen a visor like this?

That's a factory sewn visor , You need a special sewing machine attachment to sew the edging on like that , Remove one of the flat chrome tips and I'll bet what your seeing as green is actually faded blue .

Really? Two visors that only the edge is a perfectly solid green?

I guess you do know a little something about upholster (heh). Ill check it out a little closer tomorrow. Nice and toasty warm in the house right now vs the opposite outside in my little shop =)

Re: Have you seen a visor like this?

if your looking at it on a lap top pull your screen towards yourself and you'll see it turn blue .
