What Wheel Will Work?

I'm looking to find some cheap wheels to roll a 69 LWB around the shop. I have upgraded the front and rear brakes with the 5x5 disc kit from CPP. The center hub is around 72mm wide.

Any ideas on what I can pick up for just a little bit of $$?

Thanks

Re: What Wheel Will Work?

Those brakes just need a 15" wheel to clear the calipers, right?

Not sure why you'd spend money on a set of junkers, only to spend more money later on a set of good wheels, but it's your cash. Maybe you have the good wheels already and don't want to get them dirty?

Hit up your local bone yard for a set of mid 80's Chevy 1/2 ton wheels. Steel wheels used for spares will work fine, and probably cheaper too.

Jeep JK wheels are 5x5 and cheap as heck. probably work fine for rollers if hole in center big enough.

These might work as long as no termites in your area.

OlSkool, That's a nice looking build just to be held up by plywood wheels.

I'm guessing the wood is abandoned before the motor goes in???
