Hickey Enterprises roof rack
Howdy,
I was fortunate enough to buy a nos hickey roof rack for a 69-72 blazer. The original box is rough, but it came with the original hardware, grommets and bars. The part number on the bag of hardware matches what I’ve seen online. I had a set of 73-75 racks that had “Hickey Ent” stamped on them. The new set I just picked up does not. I’m convinced they are originals, I was just wondering if anyone had a 69-72 set that did not have any Hickey markings. Thanks Vinnie |

Re: Hickey Enterprises roof rack
They look good to me. I don't think people were making knock offs of this stuff.

Re: Hickey Enterprises roof rack
Neat find. Thanks for sharing. Is that a roll of weatherstripping to go between the top and the upright supports?

Re: Hickey Enterprises roof rack
Thanks. Yes, it really came with everything. It looks like the same stuff that was stuck on the other set I had.
The guy i bought them from even threw in a new set of those old tie down anchors. I don’t know if I’d have the heart to drill into the body of even my work truck. They are still pretty cool, being new in the original bag. |

Nice find!
If you ever think about parting ways with those tie downs, I'd like to be first in line for consideration. Thanks! |

Wannabe68, Ok I’ll keep that in mind.
1Rippen6, what if I just take pictures and post them on here? Or do you have a need for a hard copy? I’m really not interested in parting anything out. |

Re: Hickey Enterprises roof rack
The guy who had this rack may have another set or partial set. I should find out this week. If he does, I’ll open one of the sets of instructions up and post them here. If he doesn’t have another set, then I’ll open up this one set that I have and post it.
I think I’m going to see him before I get to these new parts I got. They’re already locked up in storage. Sorry, when I got these parts I wanted to tear open the bag to check out the instructions, grommets hardware etc. but then I wanted to be able to have an unopened bag if I ever wanted to sell them. Especially when the guy told me he may have another set. Hopefully you guys understand. |

Re: Hickey Enterprises roof rack
I’ll start another thread for the roof rack instructions. Hopefully it will be easier for people to find it if they do a search.
