Upper Dash Paint Codes

For the first time I'm working on a truck that doesn't have a black interior. Which means I have to contend with getting the correct upper dash paint color. This seems to be an issue that is not fully resolved on the board. So I thought I'd start a thread that could aggregate some data and see if anyone can offer any further insight.

Attached is a page from a Ditzler/PPG catalog listing all of the paint finishes and codes for the 1970 MY. SS Tim had posted this pic in a thread about column paint color and I banked it.

The upper dash is painted a flat version of the interior trim color. And this was not a "flattened" version of any exterior color. So for instance, even though there were three different exterior blue colors in the 1970 MY, none of these were the blue that was used on the dash for any truck with a blue interior.

This was the case for GM cars of the period too. That is why I've attached a link below for Chevelle interiors. What you will see is, unfortunately, none of those paint codes match up with ours...except for the 9317 black. (Which obviously was never going to be a problem anyway).

To this point I haven't gotten a match on Camaros either...but I'm getting a little snow blind from staring at the screen.

I have spoken on the phone with PPG and Dupont technicians and none of these codes are good anymore (again, except for the black....but they will all, I think, come up on PaintRef.com). I post them here 1) for posterity and 2) that maybe some of you might have an idea, an old catalog with formulas or even paint chips that might help us get to the correct dash paint for our trucks.
