will the Eddie Motorsports hood hinges prevent the hood bend?

If you just lubricate your hood hinges on a REGULAR basis, odds are you will never bend your hood. The ones I have seen get bent are either rusty and they have hinges that don't move freely or the hinges are damaged. The hood bends at the crash joint like GM design it to, but only if you pull/push down on it too hard because of bad hinges.

I used Deep Creap over a year ago and have not had to reapply. Closes with one finger

Mine definitely does not close that easy but I may want to look into deep creap!

I have the hinges and they are nice but on my 76 I cannot get them lined up to keep the hood down (same issue I had with the stock before the old hood bent)

It does not take much force to cause the hood bend. Unfortunately before I knew better I caused the bend on my hood.
