Setting Bed Question?
I Heard I Need To Add Some Spacers In Between The Bed Sills Before I Set It Down On The Frame On My 69 C10.
Where Do The Spacers Go and Do I Need To Add Them? Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: Setting Bed Question?
When I took the bed off of my 72 there were no spacers. Metal on metal.

Re: Setting Bed Question?
Is the reason for the spacers misalignment with the cab?
If this is the issue its the cab mounting that needs attention not the bed. If I am way off base maybe post some pictures of the issue? |

Re: Setting Bed Question?
When I put my bed back together after replacing the wood, and cleaning and painting the sills, I cut squares of tool box liner to sandwich in. Probably not needed, but I did it..

Re: Setting Bed Question?
There are some square 1/4" thick rubber pads that go in between the frame rails and the cross sills available from Classic Parts and maybe LMC, GMC Pauls, etc.
