Wtb - stepside besides

I am looking for a decent set of stepside besides for a 71 c10 Shortbed. Anybody got anything?

If you can’t find a pair I ordered a set of the Mar-K bedsides from summit racing just a little over $1000.00 dollars and they are real nice

Have you assembled the bed yet? I bought a set from AMD/Key parts and it is very poorly assembled. The angles strips are not straight, and the tailgate bolts look to be crooked.

I haven’t put mine together yet but the angle strips look nice and straight. I also know these are made in the USA and are very nice!! You can order these direct from Mar-K but the truck freight is expensive but through summit racing it’s not bad.

I bought a set from Classics Industries, I'm not very happy with them at all either. Wish I would have went with the Mar-K's

I might call them to see what brand they are. Mine were from Auto Metal Direct as a distributor from key parts. I don't know if those will be any better than what I have.

I wouldn't mind driving up there to pick them up, but they might just be drop shipped and not have them in stock

I have a pair in the rafters in my shop that I’ve decided to not use. I’m probably too far from you though.

Re: Wtb - stepside besides

@FL71C10, try Dennis Chevy truck parts. He had a bunch of c10 parts at a car show swap meet last weekend. He’s in Florida if you don’t mind the ride. He has nos stuff you can’t find any where else. He’s has a website. The only downside is you gotta visit him. He is off the grid. He doesn’t ship. And we won’t send you pics of what he has. You can also try the c10 parts place in Tennessee. They have a large supply of everything, even nos stuff. Good luck.
