TKO swap

Anybody ever do a TKO swap into a 73-87 truck that originally had the low transmission hump? If so, did you have to cut the floor at all? I have a 73 C10 and want to ditch the slush box for a TKO600. My only real area of concern is extensive cutting and welding of the floor. I'm not opposed to cutting the floor and adding in a 4 speed hump, but if it's anything more than that, I might have to stick with an auto trans for now.

I ask that you please refrain from posting responses that don’t pertain to modifying the floor for this specific transmission. I only ask that because these threads usually have a tendency to go off topic once an unrelated question is posted, and the original question goes unanswered. Thank you
