Anyone else have similar issue when replacing body mounts

So I am replacing my body mounts, first I got the poly and once I got them on I just pictured how rough the ride would be. So I scrapped the and bought the rubber body mounts. I just put them on yesterday and the passenger side body lines were about 1/2 off. They were good on the drivers side but way off on passengers. I messed around for 3 hours trying to figure out what was going on. I then compared the new rubber mount to the old one and the new one is about a half inch taller and more narrow. I understand the old one could have compressed over the years but why was the driver side good with the new ones in. So I took the new rear mount out and put the old one back in (just one the passenger side rear. Now all my body line match up again. The old ones also had shims but I don't need them now which is weird. The old mount isn't bad I just wanted everything new. I just dont understand why only that one seems to mess everything up. Is my cab bent?

Even if I shined the drivers side it would take like a full inch of shims to make the body line even on the passengers side. Just scratching my head. Like I said everything is strait now it just sucks that all the mounts are new except for that rear passengers side. Anyone else have something similar to this.

My truck is a k20 also so it uses the big mounts in the rear.

Lot of for nothing eh. Just because you ordered the mounts for your truck doesn't mean that is what you got. If it was me I'd try to get in touch with some manufacturers and ask them the height of their mounts. Yours look close but not exact. That's all I got brother. Good luck, and things will get better.

Did you compare the drivers mounts to the passenger side one? If they are the same something is out of whack

My new C10 mounts were quite a bit taller than the originals.

Have you measured them distance from the frame mounts the the ground? Start there. Measure all off them.
