Nice! I wish someone could direct me to where I can purchase a replacement for the plastic spool and spring that allows them to retract. I'm so tired of closing the door on mine, especially since I've scrubbed them up so nice. GRRRR...

Nice belts, they don't work unless you use them.
Welcome to the board pumps! Try any of the vendors on the right of this page. I am sure one of them can hook you up.home

Yes they are stock belts. These are a 67-only item, as in 68 they used the more common GM push button release. Thes are like airline belts where you lift the entire latch cover up to release.
Sorry no pics of the truck as it's disassembled. But if you picture a red swb stepside as delivered from the factory, complete with CST interior/buckets, small window cab, chrome dog dish hubcaps, small round mirrors, and stock stance, you pretty much have it. Drivetrain is 350/synchro'd 3 speed manual/column shift (from a 72), leaf spring/disk brake frame ( from a 72 GMC), and HEI are the only upgrades. Everything else is factory stock, including AM radio in uncut dash. Basically, it'll be the rust-free original truck we all hope to find. This one will remain true to the original design (with exceptions noted) and not massaged and customized to the point it's a mockery of it's former self. I know, boring, but it's exactly the style of truck that nearly everyone on this board appreciates:p

Thanks Blue_71 our computer doesn't have the program to do that I've tried but it doesn't work well is it possible to take the mirrors off and put peep mirrors on? Just wondering cause then thats what It'd look like
The only other thing that would have to be changed is putting the exhaust where it would come out under the backside of the step I don't know if any of you'd like it but thats what I'm doing
