LS swap throttle control
I am asking for some generic help for my LS swap in a Willys wagon. I am using parts from a 2006 Suburban. The throttle assy is not going to work. I am wondering what type of throttle control you used on your swap (factory or aftermarket).
Here is a pic of mine. As you can see, it literally has to be mounted behind the brake pedal to put the gas in the right place. |

Re: LS swap throttle control
You could change your throttle to a dbc, and then use a cable throttle..that's what I did on my C30..changed from dbw to dbc..
My IH is dbw, but mine has the metal pedal arm which I reshaped to fit..

Re: LS swap throttle control
Some guys use a 90s 6.5 deisel throttle pedal as they bolt up more like a 73 87 pedal some pin changes needed
Not sure if that would help In a 67 72 truck most guys buy a mount bracket to mount the gen 3 dbw pedal as they dont work out in stock form |
