Gas filler tube

I was thinking about relocating my tank to the back. I saw a post a little while ago that showed leaving the filler cap in the cab and plumbing tube to the tank.

My question - think EMT conduit would hold up to gas flowing down inside? Would the fuel melt the zinc away and contaminate the tank?

I suggest ask Metaldoc what he made it out of by asking on that thread. I liked the idea quite a lot, and if I were going to move my gas tank I would do that, too. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=693071
