Backup Lights
Anyone using a non stock backup light on their stepside? Not sure if I want to use the OEM type. They are required in NH for inspection as the truck originally had them. Might be able to get by without them but I like the idea of having them. Considering leds below tailgate on bed or possibly next to license plate, not sure if it will provide sufficient light . Any suggestions appreciated pictures even better!

Re: Backup Lights
I have used led lights that mount on the upper license plate bolts. You can find them on Ebay or Amazon for around $10.

Re: Backup Lights
Not on my C10, but I used some of these on my daily truck. Mounted them up under the bumper to the frame. Angled them down and out slightly. They are super bright and have held up very well for almost 3 years. I was able to tie them into my trailer wiring harness with ease. Nilight makes several different options... flood lights, spot lights, light bars, etc. I used the flood light version to get as much spread pattern as possible.
Now that I think about it, it may not be a bad idea to do the same to my other trucks. https://smile.amazon.com/Nilight-Dri...s%2C191&sr=8-5
