73-78 side trim dble sided tape attachment ?
Just putting the trim back on my blazer and the double side was used on some of the trim. I know to make sure all parts are super clean before attaching them, but was wondering if there is a better tape or glue. I read someone said urethane windshield adhesive but that was a old post. I was wondering about the new products that are out there like Gorilla double sided tape, or shoe goo . Let me know if you have heard or tried something different than 3-M

Re: 73-78 side trim dble sided tape attachment ?
The trim on my '74 has been held on with 3M double sided molding tape for the past 20 years without an issue. It has held up really well, through storms, car washes, sun, hot/cold, etc. That stuff is tough to beat.
This is the specific tape I used, I got it from a body shop supply store and still have probably half a roll left. https://www.3m.com/3M/en_US/p/d/b40065842/
