Prothane Motor Mounts

Thinking of trying these as I'm not real comfortable with the stock ones and possible breakage. Do they noticeably transmit more engine vibration than the stock ones? Also anyone have a part number for the trans mount?

I can not say how much vibration they transmit I have a set for my build and a set of new aftermarket rubber ones

I have less faith in new rubber ones then I do with factory gm that are in good shape I think the quality in material is not there

Have them on mine, both engine and tranny mounts. You can definitely feel more of a "rumble", but I like that, a bit less refined. It is not radically different though. Plus, when I removed the old rubber tranny mount it was torn in two pieces, so a definite plus in strength. Mildly built 350/350 C20.

I installed new rubber mounts a few years ago along wit a mild 350 SBC. Just noticed the driver side was cracked pretty bad. Might have something to due with my burnout habit, having an empty parking lot during the pandemic is too tempting to resist. I replaced them with some Prothane 7-509 mounts. I'm using the Energy 3.1108R mount on the transmission. I didn't notice any significant change. Truck seems a bit snappier on launch but could be my imagination. I read the center bolt style like I have is more prone to failure than the clamshell style.

Have the Prothane mounts and very happy.....I concur with NorCal's comment. Buy them!

I have them, didn't notice a difference. My wife hates the combo of the mounts and the cam.

Purchased a pair of the Prothane big block/4x4 mounts. Cannot use them due to my motor change. I can list them if you are interested.

I threw away a prothane trans mount because the urethane was not level on top. It was almost 1/4" higher on one side.
