Re-Ring
I would like to re-ring my 71 350 engine. Has any one here pulled the heads and raised the block up some to remove the oil pan to remove the pistons ?

Re: Re-Ring
In my opinion, it would be a lot easier to pull the engine. It'll be a lot easier to get at everything and clean things properly.

Re: Re-Ring
You can't just throw a set of rings in without deglazing the bore, and you can't do this with the crank installed because the counter weights will be in the way.
