WTB - blue steering wheel

I am looking for a nice OEM wheel for my medium blue 1972 C10. A matching horn button would be nice also. Thank you,

Mike

Re: WTB - blue steering wheel

Just SOLD for $800 to Chevyland! Thanks Eric

I am guessing that maybe you know how rare it is to find an OEM wheel in anything resembling good condition? I have one I have had for years and I think I am ready to give it up. But it is not inexpensive. $800. shipped including PP. PM me please if interested. Please not the photos. It came to me with the rust on it. I am sure it will clean up well. I just never got around to sandblasting the inside of the hub. I hope the photos show the defect on the back. I doubt you will ever see this defect once installed.

Re: WTB - blue steering wheel

A few more shots. The first two photos compares the original wheel to the two colors of reproduction wheel. There is a huge difference. I do not know if GM made different colors of blue wheels from year to year. Maybe someone else here would know. (The original wheel is the one with the rust in the center). The last photo also shows the OEM wheel but the lighting makes it appear darker.

Re: WTB - blue steering wheel

A few more photos of this "unicorn". When was the last time you saw a blue OEM wheel posted for sale on this site? I am trying to show the defects but there are not many. The two small cracks already shown on the back side and the chip missing on the rear.

Re: WTB - blue steering wheel

That is a really nice looking wheel but it is out of my price range. Thank you very much for the offer.

You are welcome. Have you considered using a reproduction? It is not easy to get the color right though.
