1970 C20 ------ Survivor --------------- SOLD!!
SOLD!!!
1970 Chevrolet C20 survivor. I purchased this truck from the original family. Very original truck down to the paint. Runs and drives great! Details below. -Well optioned. See SPID for details. Also found 2 build sheets. -124,000 original miles -Exterior is dark olive metallic. Truck had sat for over a decade and paint shows age, some pitting, and patina, but buffed up to a nice shine. Again this is original paint! For some reason the inside of the bed was sprayed in a different green color, not sure why. Most of it has come off to reveal the original paint underneath. Was told it had a camper in it most its life and it shows. -Very solid, almost rust free except for a little bit in the passenger rocker. The rocker boxes, cab corners, and fenders are all very solid. Truck was parked for a long time down hill so has some surface rust in the front of the bed. -350 engine, TH350. Run and drive well. New water pump, gaskets, spark plugs, fuel lines, & battery. Carburetor rebuilt but could use some fine tuning. I drive this truck frequently and am amazed at how nicely it goes down the road. New fuel sender. -Power drum brakes. New master cylinder and brake fluid. Stops well and straight. -Interior is all original dark olive except for a newly recovered seat. -All electrical works as it should except for radio. Turns on but only static. Heater, wipers, turn signals, high beams, horn etc all work. Will consider trades for classics. Price is $8500. There just aren't that many clean survivors around anymore.
