Dakota Digital help with 86 c10

I wired my Dakota digital dash in my 86 c10. Everything is good except the turn signals.

When I move the turn signal lever up or down neither turn signal flashes. Also when I pull the dimmer switch knob only the left turn signal indicator lights up ( as well ass all the gauges), not the right.

I looked at the wiring diagrams provided by here

https://www.dakotadigital.com/pdf/ffw-439.pdf
http://forum.73-87chevytrucks.com/sm...?topic=31290.0

It says to use:
pin 11 light blue for LH turn signal
pin 12 Dark blue for RH turn signal

I checked my original cluster plug and I have 10 for light blue, 11 for dark blue, and in the 12 slot is a pink wire with a black stripe. I have no clue what is going on.

I wired the 10 to left and 11 to right and still get this problem.

I also don't have any of the bulbs in the light sockets on either the front or the rear light housings. I don't know if this makes a difference.

The stock flasher is installed also.

It almost looks like the harness is out of an earlier model truck even though its an 86.

Everything was working when the stock cluster was in.

Instead of deleting, update what the cure was so that it's there for anyone else who might have the same or similar issue.

The solution was I needed bulbs in the front harness to complete the circuit, as well as the 3 grounds hooked up from the front light harness. All is well now.
