Mustang rack to spindle question
Hello all..
I am building a custom 66 with a custom crossmember and a mustang power rack..question is, whats the best way to connect the steering rods from the rack to the spindle...I know that the tie rod connection point on the spindle is tapered...on my rack, i have heim joints...I assume the proper procedure is to drill the taper out of the spindle connection point and use a bolt with the heim and misalignment spacers...thoughts? ideas? link is to a pic of what i have... https://photos.app.goo.gl/VZyo85fpGa2UCHNe8 |

Re: Mustang rack to spindle question
Some info....
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...postcount=1004 Look online. They make tapered inserts that the 4wd groups use but I went the route I did because of the TRE/R&P compatibility issues.
