HD suspension trucks (F60 code on my K5 blazer)
Is the F60 RPO code a common option on the K5?
As I understand the F60 has 3 front spring leafs each side rather then 2. |

For those of us uninformed, what years are we talking about here?

Re: HD suspension trucks (F60 code on my K5 blazer)
Looks like the F60 option got you the heavy duty front springs (3 leaf, 2250 lbs vs the regular 2 leaf, 1650 lbs packs) and heavy duty front and rear shocks (for 1978)
Starting in '81 you could get the F60 option with or without the Z75 quad front shock option.

I wonder if the heavy front springs 3 rather the 2 also gave the K5 a higher lift.
