I'm not sure on the wires but, don't feel bad about the 3 tone. Right now mine is the same way. Brown from the windsheild up, primer from there down, and blue interior.

Looks like a piggyback type connector - my only guess would have been for the 2nd horn??

The long wire is probably for a choke that is not being used on your truck now. IF you have an electric choke hooked up, see where it goes, it might be an addon because the original stopped working. The second wire could be a 2nd horn or maybe something to do with the parking lights. I can't see exactly where it is in the engine compartment, so it's tought to say. GM color for the park lights was and has been for a long time dark brown. Get a meter or test light and see if it becomes live when the lights are turned on.

your doors look better than mine randy....

the wire im talking about is a short one. the really long one goes to my prop valve...
see? this looks too short for an electric choke. i got a quadratoilet.
and today my truck was missing pretty good at high rpms for no apparent reason...

this is the brown wire in question...

i want a big block bad, but i couldnt afford gas. its either a big block or fix up the truck in general. its gonna get the 383 treatment when this motor goes kaput. see this is my first car/truck and i need to get decent gas mileage. im only 16 and dont have a job
so ya i could get a bb but gas would kill me.
i found a complete 454/t400 for sale for 800.actually went and looked it was completely complete. a/c compressor, ps, alt, intake, carb everything you name it had it. i wanted it but i would rather have other stuff right now
