SBC Frame VS BBC Frame
Does anyone know if the C10 swb SBC frame on a 1972 is any different than a big block frame? I never thought there was any difference in the 6cyl, sbc, or the bbc. and how much torque can you throw at a stock frame without twisting it? Thanks for any and all knowledge!!

Re: SBC Frame VS BBC Frame
Same frame, I've seen big blocks with a frame stiffener under the frame mount tying it into the side of the frame.

Re: SBC Frame VS BBC Frame
You might try a threat in the LS section asking about frame stiffness. Some LS engines make a lot more HP than BBC.

Re: SBC Frame VS BBC Frame
Ya thats a good idea. Id like to build a big inch small block that will put out as much hp as an LS and still have the old school sound.
