Spindle out
So I’m putting disc brakes on my seventy. I have a 72 donor axle but I don’t want to switch them out because it has factory front posi and I took off the diff cover today and it has 3:73. That’s perfect because I’m putting a 14 bolt with the same in the rear. So. Does anyone have a parts list for absolutely everything from the spindle out that I will need? I’ve heard there are a few differences. Thanks

Re: Spindle out
OK. So I do need the inner shafts? Perfect. I got one side broken down. Looks pretty simple. Thanks

Re: Spindle out
There is a chance that the 72 has the larger axle shaft u joint. So at that point it is just easier to slide the whole thing out and into the other. But you have to swap the knuckles and everything out. 1970 was the first year of open knuckle and last year of drum. The knuckle/spindle studs are clocked differently than the disc brake pattern starting at 12 o'clock
