SEVEND2:
I just ordered the Parma body for my Nitro Rustler (1/10 scale stadium truck). I was going to get the '00 Silverado body when I saw that one, so I bought it instead. The pic on Parma's website looks to be a T-Maxx, which I read elsewhere the body will not fit very well on (obviously someone did, but maybe with a lot of work?) It is recommended for 1/10 scale stadium trucks. Different manufacturers also make '50s style pickups, and some newer models too.
What truck are you getting? Are you going to race it, or just bash around in the backyard? I don't race my Rustler really, but the thing is fast. 30,000+RPM at 50 mph with the newer TRX 2.5 all in a truck 12" wide and 17.5" long- you will get addicted if you aren't already.
Good luck, I'll post pics when I get the body next week.
John

My wife surprised me and got me the Savage 25 from HPI. A 72 body would be cool.

I currently have three R/C trucks. I have a box stock E-maxx, Midnight Pumpkin, and my replica street truck(see my website link below).

I know these aren't 67-72, but it gives you an idea whats out there.

Here is my midnight pumpkin

and here is my e-maxx

Yes I have...probably 4 tanks of fuel...I was looking at that and the Truckzilla conversion. But after running mine I really like it the way it is.It is very torquey...and it will pull wheelies without too much problem....not sure motor upgrades are in order for me.

Go figure! When I had my t-maxx, nobody made a 67-72 body and now Parma has one. I'm kinda thinking I should have kept my R/C truck. I'll dig up pics of it and post them back here later.

Here you go, this is my NRustler.
This is after a day of bashing, so the truck is extremely dirty, it's normally really bright orange with a black tonneau. It took some modifications to fit the body, but I think it looks pretty good. I've already torn it up pretty good though, the shocks sort of punched through it in the back. Oops.
And those are the body mounts sticking through the hood. I had to buy longer ones as the stock ones were too short, and was too lazy to chop them off. It also protects the hood somewhat on rollovers.
And I know the grill trim is body color....I sorta didn't realize that the decal was for just the inner part of the grill until I put it on the truck.
I've got some other cool pics on my camera of it in action, maybe I can post them tonight if I get them back.

Don't waste your money ! You will be fine with it the way it is ! :p The only thing that I upgraded was the reverse thing and the stronger dog bones all the way around, I kept braking. You got the savage 25 it probally has all that stuff on it all ready ! My savage 21 was the 3rd one sold in our area I got it 2 days after its release ! I love it, it is going to get the motor that is in your 25 sometime here ! The also have a kit that is like $30.00 and it converts your truck to crab steering. I was looking at that ! All that I want to do is inprove on the performance of mine, I dont want to go and add $1000.00 of chrome to it ! I use mine at the skate park, it is fun as all he!!... It launches and lands great, just remeber that when you jump gas is bad, brake is bad. Just like riding a dirt bike !

So were do you drive yours at ?

One more thing, If I was you I would get your self another stock motor for your truck now while it is still kind of new. I have been waiting 3 weeks for one for mine, and it is making me I want to play with it this weekend in the snow ! I hope it comes in today so I can.

Also take a night and take your truck all the way apart and learn that thing, they charge $40.00 per hour at most hobby shops to fix something you could do in like 10 min !
