2001 TAHOE TRIM identification

Found this trim piece laying underneath my front seat. Any ideas where it goes? Has a GM part # 826570. Thanks in advance.

Re: 2001 TAHOE TRIM identification

Toddlers are inquisitive and tend to pull on anything loose. Then they cart their prize around.
I'd start by looking at the interior panels in the back side walls and tailgate. Then I'd look at the seats for missing trim.
The only other place it might've come from is the sides of the centre console but usually those are pretty big panels.

If you don't find anything missing a cover like that perhaps your youngster borrowed it from someone else's vehicle.

Re: 2001 TAHOE TRIM identification

No toddlers have been in my Tahoe. Back seat almost unused. I saw on another forum someone asking the exact same question and he came up short. Will report back if I figure it out. Thanks for the response.

Re: 2001 TAHOE TRIM identification

It almost looks like a BEC (bussed electrical centre) cover like they used at either end of the dash. They're tucked down between the doors and the end of the dash skin so they're easy to overlook.
