71 or 72 ????

i was going to buy new calipers to put on during my disc convertion, and there is a difference between 71, and 72 calipers. 2 different part #'s can any one tell me the difference, is it in the spindles, if I buy for a 72 will they fit on my spindles I don't know if they are 71,or 72 whats the diff???

Just went through this myself. Heres the deal....the 71 calipers dont fit on 72 up rotors...but the 72 calipers do work on 71 spindles and 72 up rotors. You want 72 calipers w/ 72 up rotors which works on 71-72 spindles. 71 rotors are 1" thick, 72 up are 1.25" thick. Questions?

so as long as I order the calipers, and rotors for a 72 I'm in the clear..... What A GREAT PLACE WE HAVE HERE !!!

JUST BOUGHT 72 LOADED CALIPERS FOR 36.00 EACH
LOCAL AUTO PARTS STORE
got all kinds of prices......shop on this one
