Stereo Hooked Up But Need HELP!
Ok, i bought http://sm.crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/S-...=0&cc=01&avf=N .... I got it all hooked up/wired fine and dandy until i try to play it without the truck on. Works with truck on and with key partially to right, but not on acc. What should i change to make it work on acc. I have one wire that stays hot all the time for my clock and the other goes dead when the truck is off.

You need to figure out which wire is hot when the key is in the acc position and split the red wire into that wire.

Randy, your a genius and I'm dumb, lol. Didn't even think of that. All these posts persuaded me not to cut my doors and put speakers in so I kind of rigged up something for now. I built a box under both sides of the seats with 2 6X9s on the outside and 2 6.5s on the inside of each box. Put a 8" sub in the middle cause space was CRAMPED! Not really the best looking job but BOY does it sound better than my broke old 1 speaker cassete player

Fuse Block
Why not tie into fuse block? Take a test light and see what is on with the key in accessaries.

Tie your main power wire into the slot on the fuse boxed marked"radio".
It's hot with the key "on",key in "acc" postion and off when the key is off. You'll need to tie into the "BAT" slot with one of your wires to keep the presets.
