‘72 lower radiator hose ...
OK, so my water pump is shot. Got a new (ish) aluminium one the other day. Fitted it this afternoon, went to put the bottom rad hose on, way too big. The original pump has a 46mm outlet, the aluminium one has a 43mm outlet. Haven’t got the bottom hose off the rad yet as it was getting dark and started snowing but I’m guessing it’s the same diameter as the original water pump outlet ?
Didn’t know there were different size water pump outlets, anybody had this problem ? Any ideas for a solution ? Also, can anyone ID this water pump ? Never seen one like this before .. The motor’s an original 307 v8 Cheers |
