Wiper Motor Install?

I Bought a New Wiper Motor For My 69 C10 and Ordered a Tar Seal As Well. Any Tips On The Install?

Should I Use ant Type Of Gasket Sealant?

I have no idea if you’re supposed to seal that gasket on a stock wiper motor. I just installed a Newport engineering wiper motor and it requires you to use silicone on both sides of the gasket. I don’t see how doing that could cause any problems?

There is also a smaller rubber seal that goes on the top where the linkage bolts to. Do you have that or did you get a replacement for it?

I don't think you are supposed to use any sealer on the tar ones. They should adhere to the body metal and wiper motor as long as they are clean and dry.
