I am looking for some interior ideas and suggestions
I am building a 2 Wheel Dr. blazer that is going to be very dark blue with a 1968 front clip. There’s going to be very little chrome on this blazer. Probably just the bumpers, the grill hoops, windshield trim, mirrors and door handles.
I must’ve changed my mind a bunch of times already. I have a full set of black seatbelts I’m probably going to use. This is going to be a nice weather top off Blazer 99% of the time. I was thinking of a black carpet but it will probably get sunbleached fairly quickly. I keep going back-and-forth between parchment, saddle, and even red. I don’t really want black seats as I think they will be too hot in the sun. I have a set of nice parchment door panels but they do have a curve in them. I also have paint To dye them saddle. I plan on having rear CST panels. I am open to any and all suggestions. Thanks Mark If there are any Forum vendors that would like to put me together a price on a carpet front and rear, Front bucket seats, the rear bench, and the rear CST side panels. This is very similar to the color I’m planning on using but my blazer will not have the chrome trim on the front of the hood and fenders.

Re: I am looking for some interior ideas and suggestions
Parchment would be a really nice contrast with that color blue. My vote is parchment! Maybe a dark blue carpet, that even if it fades in the sun, it would still be blue.

Tan, Saddle, Kaiki, baseball glove color interior gets my vote.
If the budget can handle it, heated and cooled seats in Ferrari saddle leather. |

Re: I am looking for some interior ideas and suggestions
I've always loved a tan interior with blue paint

Added poll, I couldn't figure how to do it at first.
Thanks for the replies.

Re: I am looking for some interior ideas and suggestions
hey first vote!
tbh I think your fine with either of the 3 options....and you can never go wrong with black either. I just don't see the carpet fade that much of an issue unless your parking it outside uncovered....which I doubt

I like the look of saddle with dark colors. That's what I voted. I think red looks great with black not blue.

Re: I am looking for some interior ideas and suggestions
Of course this picture I have is not a Chevy, but it is one of my 81-87 Chevy Truck Bench Seats I Restored for someone. He put it in his old Ford. But the reason why I’m showing it, is because the seat is Tan, but the belts & carpet are black. I think it looks nice.
And BTW, I restore seatbelts. Check out the link on my Signature there at the bottom. Mostly 73-87 single cab belts, but I have done different belts from time to time.

So far the poll has been leaning heavily towards saddle.

Re: I am looking for some interior ideas and suggestions
Huh? There were OEM factory saddle interiors in '70. It's a timeless color, but what comes with saddle now?

Re: I am looking for some interior ideas and suggestions
Everyone does saddle/tan/parchment and dark blue. Be like everyone else, or make a statement and go with red.
