Re: v8 sm465 bellhousing,crossmember, and clutch linkage
Hi
Does the bellhousing have the place for the clutch pivot ball on the driver side, and the starter provision on the passenger side? Also, what is the depth of the bellhousingand the width of the center shaft hole? What are you asking for it? Thank you. Do you have a crossmember and clutch linkage? |

Re: v8 sm465 bellhousing,crossmember, and clutch linkage
I’m by no means an expert but I used my stock inline 6 trans crossmember with a 350 swap. It did put the motor in the rear (4x4) position but it worked fine.

Re: v8 sm465 bellhousing,crossmember, and clutch linkage
I may have some of the pieces you need, However the crossmember I have was modified for use with mid length headers, or Ls exhaust manifolds, But if you can’t find another one, perhaps it would help you out.
The bell housing has some damage that did not affect the starter mount, but again not perfect anymore. I have the linkage, z bar, frame bracket, spring, etc. I’m not an expert on what fits what, or can interchange, just trying to help if I can. The parts came off a 72 C10 with a 350 and a sm465 transmission. The transmission , clutch disk, and pressure plate have been sold, but I have the rest of the parts. Shipping from MN. May not be cost effective. Not sure what it’s worth, but $ is not my real concern, seeing the parts going to good use, and helping a member out is more important.
