Winter time truck pic.

Just for fun. This is what happens when you go from heavy rain and 40 degrees to mid teens overnight. Hard as a brick. Glad it got warm enough to melt off before i had to use it again.

Re: Winter time truck pic.

Got a glacier on your truck. Here in MD Jan '95 or '96 we got sleet, then rain, then teens, and never got above freezing all month. couldn't walk anywhere w/o chopping out footsteps. No work for a couple weeks at all. It was only about 2" but like concrete. When it warmed up, the glacier slid off my one '72 K/20 and busted off the antenna and wipers. Lifted some of the paint edges on the repaint, too. It doesn't sound like your truck got any damage like that. That's a good thing.

If there is any way, I'd love to see some video of that truck plowing

Tim, i will see what i can do for you. It isn't impressive. Truck is an original 71 cheyenne but it is tired all around. Used and abused.
I blew a brake hose on my first plowing this winter and even debated if it was worth fixing.

Re: Winter time truck pic.

It ain't about purdy. It's about the truck still at it making good use of itself. I used to plow, commercially, with a '71 K/20 and wish I had a movie of it. I've seen videos on YouTube of a 67-72 pushing snow and it was just plain neat to watch. I should have some pictures of it to find and scan. I miss that one and would love to set up another just to plow for neighbors up and down the road. I have a picture folder titled "My Stuff" that show the truck with the plow mount, but no blade. But the aggravating problem right now is this overly sensitive laptop touch pad will move folders when I didn't mean to, and I can't find that one. It's buried in some random sub-file... argh!

Re: Winter time truck pic.

My first plow truck was my dad's 1976 Ford F150. He bought it new. Due to all the salt around here I swear that the only thing holding the cab on the frame was the steering column bolts.
Not pick up but here's my plow Jeep. 98 Wrangler with a 2002 LS6/4L60E swap. Nice to have heat when moving snow.
I'm going to need it tomorrow we are getting 4-6 inches of snow tonight.
