Going to Paul Atkins Interior Tuesday, anything cool to see near Hanceville AL?

I'm leaving VA in the morning to go to Paul Atkins shop on Tuesday. Paul is a very renowned custom interior guy so im excited to get a glimpse into that place. He also does complete builds and is extremely talented. He makes a custom 67-72 dash for our trucks, while not my taste ill see if he has any in the shop to see. Ill try to get some pics to share. A friend of mine is having me do an inspection on a vehicle he wants to buy from Paul. He has about 10-12 burbs I think he said and a variety of other vehicles. I'm hoping to see a truck or two.

Anything around there worth checking out? Cool yards with a lot of 67-72 trucks to see?

Here's a pic of two burbs he built.

Here is an interview power nation did with him. Ive seen a few of his interiors cross the auction block at 6 figures+.

Hes about 15 miles down the road from me..
You probably wont find a big yard full of 67-72s though
A good time to have seen a large grouping of them would have been about 2 months ago when they had the big Ardmore car show..was over 1000 cars at it last year..havnt heard this yrs numbers
You'll pass by Huntsville..
the von Braun space center is cool if your into that kinda stuff..
Wheeler refuge has a nice visitor center if you like birds..
The cooks museum is another if you like bugs..
There is a guy that has a decent collection of cars right at the hanceville exit 299..he used to have a small museum...Paul can fill you in on that
In Cullman is ava Maria grotto

Yeah my buddy bailed due to a work issue that came up about an hour ago. Just about cancelled the trip but the girlfriend decided we needed a road trip anyway.

Going to have to incorporate something into this one to where she might enjoy driving 22 hours hah!
