fresh air vent repair

My 68 c10 has rust around the air vent openings, and the doors need new rubber. Can the plastic surrounds and vent door from the 73- 87 chevy be used to replace my vent doors by cutting the opening for the plastic 73-87 ones? The other option in fiberglass the openings, and
replace the rubber on the doors.

Re: fresh air vent repair

Anything is possible if you want to put the time. Repla ING the rubber not to hard.
