What did you get done this weekend?

I sandblasted and painted a bunch of parts to put on Ebay.

Also, detailed, painted and relocated the neutral switch on the van tilt column.

Wife got me a parts washer, a blast cabinet, a DeWalt electric drill, Dewalt 4.5 inch grinder, a set of bigger jackstands, and a mechanic's roll around stool for Christmas. I had to reorganize the garage to get all of that stuff set up.

What did you get done this weekend?

Thumbs up

The 402BB is on the engine stand and down to the heads and the block and the cab is the only thing left on the frame.

Dinnut, looking at your signature, why don't you put the tilt column out of the parts truck into your other truck?

Tilt's are worth some bucks you know.

Cool

Cleaned up and painted my drive shafts, and almost ready to install new center bearing and U-joints. Finally built the cab dolly, turned out real nice. What a job that was getting the cab up on it from the garage floor!

Got the engine tranny pulled out of the parts truck. Bled the brakes on my daughters honda and went out for dinner and celabrated my nephews 26th birthday. Another short week next week so it should be pretty productive too.

I swapped wheels/tires on my work car and tried out my new cordless drill replacing my wing window assy on the Blazer.

Going to get the leather buckets this week and then find out how I'm going to mount them!

Hey Paul, what style leather buckets are you putting in??

I also want to put in some nice leather buckets, relocate the tank and build a custom center console with an auto shifter on the console. Maybe graft a newer trans am console with the shifter.

Well I took the motor out of my Astro van, got the van sold and towed it to a buddies house, and got the bed of my '01 GMC bodydropped.

And to make this '69 oriented, I moved my '69 from the street to the driveway, making it officially legal in my neighborhood

Dano -

I've got a Taurus SHO that I'm parting out. Very comfortable seats, 6 way power with lumbar & bolster. I hope they go in without too much trouble!

I like them. I've had the car since '96 and spent a LOT of time in them. I guess my a$$ just can't part with them! lol

Are you talking about the big gun that welds a nail to the body, so you can yank on it? I have one of those from Eastwood. You'll love it.

Get the thing that's like a pop rivet gun that pulls on the studs when you squeeze the trigger

I can get a picture of mine if you don't know what I'm talking about.

I've been working on step fenders for awhile now. Bought a box from Solver about a year ago and finally getting some things done on it. It is pretty solid, but once I got primer stripped off there was a lot of work to be done. I'm not b!tching, Shannon, in case you read this. You charged a fair price. I'm just working on trying to make it as good as I can! A couple pics
