how do you adjust the speedometer

speedometer adjustment

can a guy fix the diffrence in the reading of the speedometer after ya change tire or wheel size?, how is this adjusted?, I noticed my other truck speedo is off like 10 to 15 mph. the guys at the tire store do it every day, yea I know but I dont wanna pay em I wanna adjust this my self.. LOL does anyone know how to do this?

There is a plastic gear in your transmission that the speedo cable goes to. They have diff. colors with diff. ratio's. I couldn't go any higher on mine so I had a reducer made. Go to a speedo repair shop, they will help you out.
